Family and friends are mourning the passing of Susan Whitehead, who passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Susan was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a beloved member of her family whose kindness, strength, and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
She was a loving mother to Jason (Rebeca), Nicole (Josh), and Melissa (Kwazzi), and a proud grandmother to Lennix, Lianna, and Gabriella. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Stella, and is survived by her siblings John Whitehead, Debra Aitken, and Janet (Darin) Tibbits.
Throughout her life, Susan was admired for her resilience, courage, and caring nature. She had a generous heart and was always looking for ways to help others, regularly supporting charitable causes and giving back to her community. Her compassion and willingness to put others first were qualities that defined the person she was.
Susan had a love for travel and treasured opportunities to relax in tropical destinations, especially enjoying the warmth of the sun and the peacefulness of the beach. She also found happiness in the simple beauty of everyday moments, including watching the changing colors of autumn leaves, sharing time with family, and enjoying a comforting cup of tea.
Those who knew Susan will remember her for her warmth, humor, and the unconditional love she shared with those around her. She created countless memories with her family and brought comfort, laughter, and joy to many lives.
