According to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, Kaylee was a passenger in a 1995 Honda Accord when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert. She was transported to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. The driver, a 19-year-old man, and another passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said the crash remains under investigation, with excessive speed believed to be a contributing factor.
